VIVA THE NEEDY

A picture taken recently in a Gaza market. You have to wonder why there is a Viva Palestina but no Viva Darfur where the people genuinely need aid and assistance.

The locals in El-Arish didn't hold back the other day when they pelted the Galloway Viva Palestina circus with stones and vandalised the convoy - George Galloway convoy stoned by irate Egyptians. Circus member and unrepentant Jew hater Yvonne Ridley, trying to sound all sweet and innocent, called it an "absolute disgrace" but these bozos must have done something to get the locals riled up.

The answer might be here - Egypt bars Gaza-bound aid convoys.
"Egypt will no longer allow convoys, regardless of their origin or who is organizing them, from crossing its territory" after activists this week clashed with police, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit told Al-Ahram on Saturday.

"Members of the (Viva Palestina) convoy committed hostile acts, even criminal ones, on Egyptian territory," he added.

Galloway and his circus performers are no better than the Islamist thugs who run Gaza.

Take your pick at the number of societies impoverished by Islamic thugs who receive little or no news coverage, while these fashionable hand-wringers clutter the news pages with stories of besieged Gaza and humanitarian crises blamed on Israel.

Those fruit and veg markets in Gaza are a veritable sea of colour. I wouldn't mind shopping there myself.

It was evident that SBS' news reports were struggling to report the violence between Hamas and Egypt last weekend. It didn't quite properly fit their standard narrative of blaming Israel. They still managed to advertise Hamas' propaganda of "we regret violence with our brothers in Egypt". As opposed to the joy they get from killing Jews.
